Walking the coastal path from East Prawle to Lannacombe you pass Maelcombe House, an Edwardian mansion standing in its own grounds. The shoreline of Lannacombe Bay comprises large beds of flat rock interspersed with small shingle beaches backed by low crumbling cliffs. At Malcombe Point a short line of trees fringes the cliff.
