Elender Cove is tucked away under the high crags of Gammon Head. This is an idyllic sandy cove accessible by a steep climb down from the coastal path. Not for the feint hearted but the rewards of this effort are a tiny golden sand beach with safe bathing in crystal clear waters. The cove is a favourite overnight anchorage for yachts during quiet weather with offshore winds.
